So, I have been staying up too late recently. And when I finally start to hit that exhaustion limit, I start to have some really bizarre dreams — ones that I actually remember. <\/p>\n

Yesterday: This dream involved visiting some relatives and going to AnimeExpo, because, apparently, somehow LA and Albany are very close together. I was very hot and sticky when I got to the hotel, and so I wanted to take a shower. But then Tiina arrived (because, of course, the last time I went to AX I went with her…) and said she needed the shower, so I agreed to use the shower down the hall. Except when I went into that bathroom it was a combination bathroom\/bowling alley so if I were to take a shower in there everyone would have been able to watch. So I ended up not being able to take the shower \/or\/ put on any decent clothes, so I ended up outside in the stinky clothes I was wearing before. I got in a car. Or, rather, I jumped on<\/i> a car. I’m not sure where I was going, because I don’t remember anything after that.<\/p>\n

This morning: In spite of warnings not to, George Lucas insisted upon turning Episode 2 into a musical and writing all of the lyrics himself. But, not having the kind of writing talent that Joss Whedon has in even his small toe, it turned out really badly. For some reason he wanted a lot of lines in the songs to rhyme, and when he couldn’t think of a rhyming word he’d just throw in a random one. After everyone watching the final cut finished gaping in horror, George was berated soundly by his mistress (…). He was informed that if he was going to make it into a musical he should have hired Stephen Sondheim and Gershwin to do it for him. Later, everyone was at a bowling alley [NOT the same one that was part of the bathroom] and we discovered that instead of having just a flat area for you to step up to the line and get momentum, there was a hurdle in the way. Somehow, this was discriminatory towards women and children, so we all got really upset. <\/p>\n
