Sensei was trying to figure out how people came to class, to make sure there wouldn&#8217;t be any problems since we&#8217;ll be getting out later than usual. [Class, being at night, is a weird mix of post-college and high school students.  One of the girls in class was born in 1987. >_< . <b>1987!!  She&#8217;s younger than my little brother.]<\/p>\n<p>So anyway, the conversation goes something like this.  Sensei asked L-san where she parked.<br \/>L: Near Au Bon Pain<br \/>T: Anpan Man? Huh? <br \/>C &#038; K: *snicker madly* <br \/>Sensei: !!!<\/p>\n<p>Somehow Sensei had this severe problem understanding how we &#8212; me particularly, not having visited Japan or lived in Hong Kong &#8212; knew who Anpan Man was.  It was bizarre.  Everyone else was completely lost, so she tried to help by drawing a picture of Anpan Man on the chalkboard.
