I do kind of share one, but… bleh.)
(*) a tv in your bedroom (But it’s not actually plugged in or hooked up.)
(*) an ipod (But it was free!)
( ) a photo printer (My mom does, though.)
( ) your own phone line (Bleh!)
(*) TiVo or a generic digital video recorder (And would not give it up at this point.)
(*) high-speed internet access (aka not dialup) (See above.)
( ) a surround sound system in bedroom (God no. As I was just telling someone at work… I’m not a sound person. It doesn’t do anything for me.)
(*) dvd player in bedroom (Yes, though it’s as unhooked as the television.)
(*) at least a hundred DVDs (Easily)
(*) a childfree bathroom (By default… there’s no children here.)
( ) your own in-house office (Does the sofa count?)
( ) a pool (The condo complex has 2, but we don’t have one of our own. My mom has one tho.)
( ) a guest house (yeah right)
( ) a game room (Does the basement count? Maybe.)
(*) a queen-size bed or larger (How is this spoiled and not normal?)
( ) a stocked bar (ha ha ha)
(*) a working dishwasher (I guess this is a luxury, though since I grew up in the midst of middle-class poverty (where you have a decent house but the mortgage payments kill you and make it hard to do much else) and we always had one, I think of it as normal.)
( ) an icemaker (…though I’d like one.)
(*) a working washing machine and dryer (NOT A LUXURY)
( ) more than 20 pairs of shoes (probably not, but it might be a close call. All, however, from Payless.)
( ) at least ten things from a designer store (ha ha ha. Does Best Buy count?)
( ) expensive sunglasses (I don’t do sunglasses. Though I’m weakening on this score.)
( ) framed authentic art (Yes and no. ’tis fanart…)
( ) Egyptian cotton sheets or towels (Nope.)
(*) a multi-speed bike (Yeah. But it was free. Mom won it.)
( ) a gym membership (My mom and my brothers have one though…)
( ) large exercise equipment at home (I’d like a treadmill, but we can’t afford one.)
( ) your own set of golf clubs (Hell no.)
( ) a pool table (No space for that.)
( ) a tennis court (The condo complex has some. Who has a big enough yard for something like this?)
(*) local access to a lake, large pond, or the sea (Sort of? The ocean is within driving distance, but hardly ‘local’.)
( ) your own pair of skis (Not a chance. J2 has a snowboard.)
( ) enough camping gear for a weekend trip in an isolated area (Heck no. Camping = not for me.)
( ) a boat (Boating = not for me.)
( ) a jet ski (This could be fun, but expensive.)
( ) a neighborhood committee membership (I guess technically we’re members of the condo association… but I don’t think that counts. We have no choice.)
( ) a beach house or a vacation house/cabin (I wish.)
(*) wealthy family members (None where I stand to inherit anything, sadly.)
(*) two or more family cars (A necessity.)
( ) a walk-in closet or pantry (What I wouldn’t give…)
( ) a yard (Not in a condo.)
( ) a hammock (Would sort of need a yard.)
( ) a personal trainer (Ha ha ha.)
(*) good credit (NOT A LUXURY)
( ) expensive jewelry (I prefer my toys to be entertaining.)
( ) a designer bag that required being on a waiting list to get (See above.)
( ) at least $100 cash in your possession right now (Please. It’s a rare day when I have more than $1 cash on me.)
(*) more than two credit cards bearing your name (not counting gas cards or debit cards) (Well, yes. But I don’t have a gas card.)
( ) a stock portfolio (I have an IRA, but I don’t think that counts.)
(*) a passport (How is that anything other than proof you’re not some kind of criminal?)
( ) a horse (Allergic.)
( ) a trust fund (either for you or created by you) (If only.)
( ) private medical insurance (What is this asking? Health insurance? Yes.)
( ) a college degree, but no student loans (Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha.)

Do you:
( ) shop for non-needed items for yourself (like clothes, jewelry, electronics) at least once a week (Certainly not.)
( ) do your regular grocery shopping at high-end or specialty stores (When we lived in MN our grocery store was quite posh. But the only nearby alternative was dirty, like Market Basket. I couldn’t deal with it.)
( ) pay someone else to clean your house, do dishes, or launder your clothes (not counting dry-cleaning) (Uh, no. But then, I don’t much clean it either.)
( ) go on weekend mini-vacations (I guess? Not very often though.)
(*) send dinners back with every flaw (If it’s a major flaw? Hell yes. I’m paying for it.)
( ) wear perfume or cologne (not body spray) (Definitely not. And how is body spray not the same thing?)
( ) regularly get your hair styled or nails done in a salon (Supercuts ahoy.)
( ) have a job but don’t need the money OR (Not so much.)
( ) stay at home with little financial sacrifice (Not so much there, either.)
( ) pay someone else to cook your meals (But cooking is fun.)
( ) pay someone else to watch your children or walk your dogs (Since I have neither, this would be a pretty stupid thing to spend money on.)
( ) regularly pay someone else to drive you (I wonder if public transportation counts here.)
( ) expect a gift after you fight with your partner (Not that I would turn one down.)

Are you:
( ) an only child
( ) married/partnered to a weathly person
( ) baffled/surprised when you don’t get your way (Baffled or surprised? No. Annoyed? Heck yeah.)

Have you:
(*) been on a cruise (And going on another one in a couple of weeks!)
(*) traveled out of the country (Canda’s pretty close.)
(*) met a celebrity (At least people I consider celebrities.)
(*) been to the carribean (Yep. Though I didn’t enjoy it as much as I could have.)
(*) been to europe (If England counts.)
( ) been to hawaii (Someday…)
(*) been to new york (Closer than Canada. Though if they mean the city here they should be more specific.)
( ) eaten at the space needle in seattle (Never been. Been to the CN Tower though.)
(*) been to mall of america (What? We lived in Minneapolis. It was our mall.)
( ) been on the eiffel tower in paris (Someday…)
(*) been on the statue of liberty in new york (Walked up it.)
(*) moved more than three times because you wanted to (I love looking for new places to live. I’m a real estate junkie.)
( ) dined with local political figures (Probably have done this actually.)
(*) been to both the Atlantic coast and the Pacific coast (in any country) (Not recently. Pacific, anyway.)

Did you:
( ) go to another country for your honeymoon (Did we go on a honeymoon is the question.)
( ) hire a professional photographer for your wedding or party (Hardly.)
(*) take riding or swimming lessons as a child (Swimming. I don’t really consider that a luxury, but a necessary skill.)
( ) attend private school (Not for lack of desire, but lack of cash. Though I did go to a private college.)
( ) have a Sweet 16 birthday party thrown for you (Hardly. I haven’t had a real birthday party since I was 10.)

This is a bad habit, doing too many memes and quizzes.
