Not to say that all of the contestants there struck me as the cream of the business crop, but for the most part they all struck me as much nicer <i>people<\/i> than the ones who come on the American show.   And Sir Alan, of course, has his faults, but one of his faults is not seeing the show as a chance to make himself a new career as a commercial pitchman for the companies he features on his show.  At least not so far.  So I found the end pretty satisfying, the editing job much better than the US version, and the show leaving me glad I&#8217;d watched it rather than feeling a bit dirty as I do occasionally after the US one.<\/p>\n<p>Bit puzzled by the ads for next week&#8217;s US version though.  They&#8217;re billing it as the finale, but is it? It&#8217;s only an hour, and doesn&#8217;t look as if it could possibly be live.  So what&#8217;s going on?
