Personally, I think they still could have gone, but mom made the decision Sunday that she wouldn&#8217;t go due to her ankle.  So she called J1 and asked if he wanted the tickets.  He said &#8216;I have no interest in going&#8217;.  Mom was not surprised, though she had hoped J1 would have agreed to sell the tickets for her, so she turned to other possibilities.<\/p>\n<p>Yesterday she called a bunch of people and finally gave the tickets to the people across the street at about 8ish.  Suddenly, the phone rings, and it is J1.<\/p>\n<p>The conversation went something like this:<br \/><b>J1<\/b>: So I talked to my old roommate Julie and she said she wanted to see the Lion King, so I&#8217;d like the tickets.<br \/><b>Mom<\/b>: I just gave them to [neighbors].<br \/><b>J1<\/b>: *gasp*<br \/><b>Mom<\/b>: You should have called 10 minutes sooner.<br \/><b>J1<\/b>: You&#8217;re so inconsiderate.<br \/><b>Mom<\/b>: &#8230;<\/p>\n<p>In better news, mom now has one of those handicapped things so she can park the car wherever she wants.<\/p>\n<div style=\"clear:both; padding-bottom: 0.25em;\"><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>My mom and my aunt were supposed to go see the Lion King tonight.
