It was… interesting. I don’t know if I liked it. Vincent D’Onofrio was Moriarty, and something about his acting bothers me. I’m not sure what, but I actually watched Law and Order when it was on instead of ER yesterday and it bothered me then too. The premise of the movie was that it was a prequel of sorts — Sherlock was just starting out, just meeting Watson and Lestrade for the first time, not yet famous, not yet having many of the bad habits he would later develop. I’m not all that familiar with the Holmes canon, so I really can’t say how much they deviated from that, but there was an awful lot of sex involved which struck me as highly odd. (Let’s not even talk about the threesome.) Anyhow… it struck me as a ‘pilot’ for a series of movies.

The MI run continues. I am determined to finish this weekend.

And since I really have nothing else to say I’ll close with a quote from Prof C, who got a little carried away in class on Thursday. “That’s why they’re biologists. Because they failed math.”

So I looked it up and it turns out that the half and half is heated to ultra high temperatures before it’s sealed in the plastic things.
