A little too neat and tidy; they didn&#8217;t bother to explore the whole idea of the Minority Report at all.  It came up, we heard about what it was, and then&#8230; foof. It didn&#8217;t figure in the plot at all.  The resolution completely ignored the point that the system was inherently flawed to begin with.  Instead we had this somewhat contrived manipulation of the system to prove it was flawed.<\/font><\/p>\n<p>Lilo &#038; Stitch: <font color=\"#ffffff\">Cute.  Better than I expected, but then I wasn&#8217;t expecting much.  The character designs were much improved since Tarzan.  Too much Elvis, but I knew that going in.  Plot was insanely predictable, but at least they stayed away from the whole blatantly evil character thing.<\/font><\/p>\n<p>Powerpuff Girls: The best of the lot so far!  A prequel which didn&#8217;t actually contradict any information we&#8217;ve been given in the series! (As far as I could tell.)  I cannot express how irritating it is to me that the theatres are treating this as a kiddie-flick; no theatres in this entire area are showing it later than 7:45pm.  Powerpuff Girls has a very big following among teenagers\/young adults, and it&#8217;s really really surprising to me that the theatres don&#8217;t seem to know that at all.  It also doesn&#8217;t seem to be a very wide release. It doesn&#8217;t have as many screens as I would have expected.  Something about the distribution has gone seriously wrong.  Everyone needs to go to see it anyway.<\/p>\n<p>Men In Black 2: <font color=\"#ffffff\">Points to the movie for not ignoring the conclusion of the last movie and actually trying to provide some continuity.  Minus points for providing this continuity in the form of three throwaway lines which pretty much dismissed the 2 important female characters from the last movie.  There are still apparently no women in black.  Someone sue these people for discrimination.   Short, but the final battle was not as gross or drawn out as the last time.
