It&#8217;s only when I&#8217;m still tired that I don&#8217;t have enough control over my thoughts to banish things like that.<\/p>\n<p>It took me a long while to realize that, and now I think it&#8217;s sad that I did.  But sleep deprivation also earns me more interesting dreams, both sleeping and awake.  Still, I think it&#8217;s something I&#8217;d prefer not to explore regularly.<\/p>\n<p>So anyway, this news about Shounen Jump has me fairly psyched.  Smile, Animerica Extra and all those are\/were okay, but they were too expensive with too little content.  $4.50 is actually cheaper than what I can get the real thing for &#8212; Sasuga sells them for $7-8, and while one can pick them up after the fact at the grocery store down the street, that&#8217;s a chancy deal at best. They don&#8217;t always have what you want.  It remains to be seen however, if what we get is some kind of stripped down version.<\/p>\n<p>And what the hell were they thinking trying to compare Shounen Jump with Cosmo Girl?!  The two have nothing in common whatsoever.  Cosmo and Cosmo Girl are&#8230; well, they are advertisements, basically, interspersed with advice about how to get a boyfriend (latter) and how to turn him into husband (former).   And how Clairol(TM), Tommy Hilfiger(TM) and Cover Girl(TM) can help you to do it.  Shounen Jump is&#8230; a book of comics.<\/p>\n<p>Hmm.
