I&#8217;m trying to figure out if they&#8217;ll take the cost of health insurance out of the stipend pre-tax, which is obviously better all around for everyone, or if they&#8217;re going to try and screw me by sending me a bill.  It seems like they want to do the latter, so I&#8217;m going to have to call them, I guess. Grr.<\/p>\n<p>In other news, there were more layoffs at work today.  Not me, but it was a lot of people (6), and it was very surprising.  I <i>almost<\/i> wish I had been one of them, because then I could just have a vacation until September and collect unemployment.  But unemployment isn&#8217;t as much as what I&#8217;m making now, so it would have been a very lean summer, if a relaxing one.<\/p>\n<p>Ah well.<\/p>\n<div style=\"clear:both; padding-bottom: 0.25em;\"><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>So I finally got the paperwork from the school today.
