I had an amusing conversation.<\/p>\n<p>Every couple of weeks, C. and I have been going out to lunch on Fridays.  Here&#8217;s a snippet from Friday&#8217;s:<\/p>\n<p>C: Mmm.. so you know, a lot of the time I hear D. on the phone.  Is he talking to his girlfriend? [D. sits near both of us and has a cell phone.]<br \/>K: *blinks* <br \/>K: .oO (Fishing, are we?)<br \/>K: Um, no, I think he&#8217;s talking to his boyfriend.<br \/>(To be fair to C. here, I&#8217;m sure she would have been a heck of a lot more sly if she&#8217;d been speaking Japanese, which is her native tongue.)<br \/>C: Ohhhhhh. <br \/>K: .oO (I think you knew that.)<br \/>C: *makes excuses about how it&#8217;s hard not to overhear phone conversations*<br \/>K: *agrees*<br \/>C: So what about K2&#8230;? Is he?<br \/>K: Pretty sure.<br \/>C: Ahhhh.<br \/>C: What about M.?<br \/>K: Mmm.. not sure about him.<br \/>(Interestingly though, she pegged on the only other person I really wonder about.)<\/p>\n<p>In any case, I was quite amused.  It&#8217;s not like it&#8217;s really a secret, either.  How can it be a secret when you talk on the phone all the time in a pretty loud voice and also have conversations with other people about it in the middle of the office?
