Although the structure of torrents and the various torrent communities are rather self-policing, so perhaps you're safe from the bad-ware.

The verdict is in! At least they're not late with it. I earned *drumroll* 48 cents in May at Epinions. That makes Jun the winner! Though I more than doubled her guess. Take that. :)
For those interested, my highest earning review was the one I wrote on Fantastic Beasts (see previous entry). I wrote it on May 29th, so it didn't have very long to make me money, yet it earned me 9 cents. This doesn't seem proportional to hits, because I had other book reviews with more hits that month. Epinions uses some top secret Chinese formula to figure out Income Share. Anyway, my average for 7 book reviews was just shy of 5 cents. My average for movies was 6 cents, but there was only one movie. My average for online stores/services, of which I wrote two, was only 3.5 cents.
At this same rate, I can have a check in 19 months.
Far cry from that 100$+ check my first month at Epinions.
Ah, the good old days of the Internet, when money flowed into our pockets and companies were handing out free stock.

I just finished UK Survivor 2. Without spoiling, here's some additional comments. Everyone in general was really nice. There were alliances and plotting and some personality clashes, but still everyone was nice. This seemed similar to the UK Apprentice, but there was a comment made on this show that the nice people were unusual and they weren't so nice on Survivor 1. I dunno, didn't see that one.
They found more than one interesting use for the condoms.
The challenges were all rather different. There were some of the usual endurance, obstacle course, and the obligatory gross food, but a few were really unique and interesting too. The rewards were nothing very surprising.
The audience actually got a vote. Just one vote equal to one vote of the jury, so not a vote likely to have much impact, but possibly a tie-breaker.
I actually liked almost everyone! That's the surprising thing. It was really hard to pick sides, because I didn't mind if most of them ended up winning.
