This is something I've wanted for a while. It should exist. Especially now. All these new advances, yadda yadda. But I'm not sure what to call it, who might make it, or where to find it. So please let me know if you have any idea.
A smallish portable .. thing.. for writing with.
* A qwerty keyboard that's fullsize or close to it.
* A screen that displays at least 5 lines. Monochrome is fine.
* The ability to edit text files. Doesn't have to have a word processor, just a text editor.
* The ability to get data off of it onto a PC, floppy, or CD.
I think that's it. That's not too much to ask, is it?

Greenfield Online started an affiliate program. I used Greenfield Online since about ten years ago. Some years more intensively than others. It's a site where you answer surveys and get money for it. The rewards are generally small per survey, but there are also drawings, so the chance to get more. And sometimes there's online chats that earn more. At any rate, I've earned a decent amount from them, and since I discovered the affiliate program, I thought I'd tell the world.
So go to Greenfield Online through this link. I'll get a buck if you sign up.

I told K this already, but I might as well post it. The other day I watched The Private Life of Sherlock Holmes (1970). If you like Holmes stuff even a little bit and you like slashy stuff, it's worth watching the first 45 minutes or so of this movie. It was very amusing. Once the girl shows up (and gets naked), you can stop watching without missing much. But you might as well keep watching, because the story was interesting on its own anyway. Or if you happen to like Christopher Lee, who plays Mycroft. But I won't give details, lest I spoil. :)
