This is what's wrong with the US, and Disney in particular. Disney wants to release DVDs to rental places that self-destruct in 48 hours. After being exposed to oxygen, a chemical process starts that makes the disk unplayable in 2 days.
Are Americans so cheap and lazy that they can't buy DVDs or rent them and return them to the store? Now we need /disposable/ ones? What are the odds these DVDs are biodegradable?
