01:38 ~ gaze at the moon

Okay okay, so I played Lemonade Stand again.

$100.17!

Beat that, suckers!

01:04 ~ gaze at the moon

Finished Transformation by Carol Berg. It'll be the only book I finish this month. Oh well, as I predicted.

Very good. Slashy, but no actual m/m. Hmf. Looks like there's 2 sequels, so I'll add them to my cart.

16:55 ~ gaze at the moon

Okay, I've again returned to Walmart. This is what I'm looking at.

Add an OS (free).
Add a video capture card (probably ~100$.. haven't decided on one yet)
Add a DVD rom (~100-200$?)

And I can probably make do with the rest. Get an additional hd when I run out of room or have more money.

03:42 ~ gaze at the moon

I played Lemonade Stand again and got $54.68, so I don't think I shall be playing it again. :)

03:39 ~ gaze at the moon

I am GIR. Here, take the test.

Remember Lemonade Stand? I played it with a net profit of $53.02. Worship my mad lemonading skillz.

03:31 ~ gaze at the moon

Waaaaah! My queries are now /entirely/ that one phrase! Somebody please make it stop!

I may or may not write a Shoujocon report. I won't promise anything, because then I'll feel like I have to do it.

Am reading a book. May even finish it this month.

Updated my fanfic page. But I'm not going to tell you where it is. If you don't know, too bad for you.

And now.. here's an attempt to get more interesting queries.

Snape X Scabbers, Padfoot X Snuffles, Fred X Percy, Ron X Hedwig, Hermione X Mr. Burns

05:54 ~ gaze at the moon

o.O Check out my queries. I'm not even going to say what they are, lest I attract more of the same searches!

(To anyone who thinks they're /interesting/ queries. No, sorry to disappoint. They're just scary in their lameness.)

02:45 ~ gaze at the moon

K said I should make a list, so.. here's a list.

* Make a list.
* Pack.
* Finish filler tapes.
* Finish arrangements with brother.
* Finalize when video meeting is.
* Make meeting agenda (can be done at hotel).
* Make list of permissions.
* Put K's tapes and stuff back.
* Take out some garbage.
* Toss some things from the fridge.
* Make shopping list.
* Get a haircut (this is unlikely to happen).
* Get quarters to do more laundry. Do more laundry (Unilkely)
* Turn off as many MLs as possible.
* Gzip some stuff so my account doesn't implode.
* Paperwork/mail.

The problem with lists is you think of things to add faster than you can do the things already there.

(Addendum: The additional problem with lists is you feel like striking things off is one more thing that should be on the list!)

07:21 ~ gaze at the moon

Brief review of anime I've been sorta watching as I copied it.

Tonde Buurin - The mahou shoujo you /don't/ want to be.

Tokyo Mew Mew - Tonde Buurin for cat-lovers.

Candy Candy - I can't get the frelling song out of my head.

Oh Super Milk-chan - Very bizarre, but she grows on you very quickly. I just love her voice.

Memoru in the Pointed Hat - I can't really say. It looked boring, but I wasn't watching it.

Daa! Daa! Daa! - If you like Akachan to Boku, check this out. The guy reminds me a bit of Hayama.

Like the Clouds, Like the Wind - I like this movie. I won't say more lest I spoil it.

Music Vids - TOO MANY UTENA! Yes, Utena is cool. Yes, it's full of bishounen. Get over it already. TOO MUCH LINKIN PARK. I have no idea who Linkin Park is, but apparently it's popular among otaku. I don't really like any of the songs.

S.E.S. is a group that did a song on one of the vids. I discovered they're a kpop/jpop group. Now I need one of their Japanese cds. :)

It /seems/ like the music vid contests are getting longer each year, but I don't know the final time of this year's yet. It doesn't seem to have been hurt by the (relatively) early deadline.

And that's all the news that's fit to print. Meaning there's more news, but I ain't printing it. Cuz it ain't none 'o yo' bidness.

07:13 ~ gaze at the moon

Okay, it's late. And I should be sleeping. Because I need to get up earlyish /one/ of these days to do.. well, here's a list, as E is so fond of.

* Visit ATM
* Get quarters
* Get haircut
* Buy video tapes, food for Shoujocon, and any other random thing I might need on the trip or before it. I'd also like to get something(s) for Mom.

Other things I still need to do..

* Vacuum the stairs!
* Laundry.. probably 2 loads at this point.
* Pack
* Finish making filler tapes.
* Finish copying tapes.

And aside all that.. keep up with Shoujocon mail, make sure the ballots get done up, tapes are arriving which need to arrive, bestprices order gets here, keep up with MUSH admin foo, rp enough that my alts don't look dead idle!, find a present for K (an ongoing project), and maybe somewhere in there.. find a job? Perhaps?

Looks like I'll probably end up at my parents at the end of July (either right after Shoujocon or a little later), which means I have to worry about /not/ buying food that'll spoil, getting more laundry done, and possibly packing more. Aiyaaa.

And there is more about my life than I think I've ever posted before. :)

I beat my record on books in June, which I believe I said before. I'm not even halfway through a book for July, so my prediction's holding up. :) If Amazon would frelling SHIP my order, maybe I'd have some books in hand that I'd be more inclined to read.

However.. Next Card might have frelled that up.

I am ticked at the FDIC. They know about this for literally half a year and when do they inform us? The DAY BEFORE they turn off the cards. Thank you /so/ much. I had two pending orders with that card and it's nigh on impossible to change billing information, especially after they're all packed up ready to go.

We shall see.. I wanted/needed both those orders before Shoujocon. :P Not an unreasonable request when I placed one order on the 3rd and set the other to Fedex 2-day.

05:32 ~ gaze at the moon

Wanted to play Bust a Move but couldn't immediately lay my hands on the CD. So my room got partially cleaned. Been playing it since (though I did stop to do bills and things). I've played it 7 times now and not /once/ did I get Shorty's stage. And it's my favorite. *pout*

Tried and failed to log into Brookline. I'm hoping the problem is on their end, because I've run out of passwords to try. Or it may just be that it's 5 in the morning and my brain's not firing on all thrusters. I'll try again later.
